Funny How...
58State of Mind
This was written in a moment of thinking about life.
Life is beautiful, strange, long, short, scary...but above all a little bit funny.
Life is a funny, funny thing. It can be stupidly ironic. Flooded with morality and karma and comedy.
So the following is my random capture of funny funny life.
It's funny how things change
life and time rearrange.
And you just can't seem to find her, him, it, us.
We lose touch, we fail to touch base;
and watch something dry up, that we can't replace.
It's funny how things begin.
You enter the world, coming out from within.
At first it's such a scary place;
One small planet, orbiting among many in space.
It's funny how time flies by
So fast all you could do is sigh.
And hope you get another day, to live better than the one before;
aiming to make life more than a chore.
It's funny how at some point we all play a game, the game.
The new thrill is quickly finding fame.
Hindsight...that's a funny thing.
You need eyes in your butt
To see the things we should have seen first with our actual eyes.
Tut tut...
Life is us, you and me
Life is what it does,
It does what it is....
Funny how life is whatever we want or make it to be as long as we're all free.
